You will need to install the HD Writer software from the CD that comes with the camera. If you want to keep the whole file structure (including all the metadata) you will need to get the files off the card in a slightly different way. That will get only the actual video files onto your computer. Remember to delete the card contents in the camera afterwards. You should be able to replay them on the computer itself.

Then simply save the '.mts' files onto your computer. Then you can find the actual video files (they will have the extension '.mts') by going through the following card menu sequence: 'Private - AVCHD - BDMV - STREAM'.
